In short (English summary)

  • Your selfie is destroyed immediately after each search — it is held in memory only and never written to disk.
  • We do not build a face database. Faces in gallery photos are stored as numeric vectors, not as face images.
  • Search is locked to one gallery. Cross-gallery search is impossible by design — nobody can "find a person on PikFind".
  • We never keep your originals. Every photo is stored only as a web-quality copy. The original file stays with the photographer — there is no original here to leak.
  • How long we keep things. A gallery and its face index are kept while the organiser maintains it (1 year by default, extendable). After that the gallery becomes read-only, and the face index is destroyed unless the organiser has enabled archive search. When the organiser deletes the gallery, everything is destroyed.
  • Legal basis: your explicit consent, given on the search screen (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time.
  • Your rights: access, deletion, objection — use the “Request photo removal” button on any gallery, or email support@pikfind.com. We respond within 30 days.

1. 얼굴 정보의 처리 — 핵심 원칙

  • 셀카 즉시 파기: 참가자가 검색을 위해 업로드한 셀카와 그 임베딩(수치 벡터)은 검색 처리 완료 즉시 메모리에서 폐기되며, 디스크에 기록하지 않습니다.
  • 원본 얼굴 무저장 원칙: 갤러리 사진 속 얼굴은 원본 이미지가 아닌 수치 벡터(embedding)로만 저장됩니다. PikFind는 "얼굴 사진 DB"를 만들지 않습니다.
  • 검색 범위 격리: 얼굴 검색은 해당 갤러리 내부로만 한정되며, 갤러리 간 교차 검색은 시스템적으로 불가능합니다.
  • 원본 미보관: PikFind는 사진 원본을 보관하지 않습니다. 업로드된 사진은 웹 화질본으로만 저장되며, 원본(RAW·고화질)은 촬영자가 갖습니다. 유출될 원본이 저희 쪽에 존재하지 않습니다.
  • 보관 기간: 갤러리와 얼굴 색인은 주최자가 유지하는 동안 보존됩니다(기본 1년, 연장 가능). 보관 기간이 끝나면 갤러리는 읽기 전용으로 바뀌고, 주최자가 아카이브 검색을 허용하지 않은 경우 얼굴 벡터는 파기됩니다. 주최자가 갤러리를 삭제하면 사진·벡터가 모두 완전히 삭제됩니다.

보관 기간이 지나도 사진이 자동으로 사라지지는 않습니다. 본인이 나온 사진의 삭제를 원하시면 보관 상태와 무관하게 언제든 아래 4항으로 요청하실 수 있으며, 지체 없이 처리합니다.

2. 수집 항목

  • 촬영자(회원): 이메일, 이름, 비밀번호(암호화 저장), 결제 내역
  • 참가자(비회원): 없음 — 검색 횟수 등 비식별 통계만 기록. 셀카는 저장하지 않음

3. 참가자 동의

셀카 검색 이용 시 생체정보(얼굴) 처리에 대한 동의를 받으며, 동의하지 않는 경우 시간대·폴더로 직접 찾기 기능을 이용할 수 있습니다.

4. 사진 삭제 요청 (옵트아웃)

본인이 나온 사진의 삭제를 원하시면 갤러리 하단의 "내 사진 삭제 요청" 또는 support@pikfind.com 으로 요청해주세요. 확인 후 지체 없이 처리합니다.

5. 처리 위탁·보관 위치

사진 파일은 Cloudflare R2에 저장되며, 전송 구간은 TLS로 암호화됩니다.

6. GDPR (EU 참가자 안내 / Notice for EU guests)

  • Legal basis: Selfie search uses biometric data and runs only on your explicit consent, given per search. Consent can be withdrawn at any time (simply do not use selfie search — browsing works without it).
  • Data minimisation: Selfies are never stored. Original photo files are never stored either — only a web-quality copy. Faces are held as numeric vectors, not as images.
  • Storage limitation: A gallery and its face index are retained for as long as the organiser maintains the gallery (1 year by default, extendable). When retention ends the gallery becomes read-only and the face index is destroyed unless archive search has been enabled; deletion by the organiser destroys everything. You can request removal of your photos at any point, regardless of that schedule.
  • Your rights: You may request access, removal, or non-display of your photos at any time via the "Request photo removal" button in every gallery or support@pikfind.com. We respond without undue delay.
  • Scope isolation: Face search is technically confined to a single gallery. Cross-gallery or global person search is impossible by design.
